Painting - Alcohol In On Australian S-ink Paper
Description
Are black holes really black? What if they're not? What if they are filled with colors that our eyes cannot see? What if they're filled with colors that our imaginations have yet to comprehend? What if? I love to ponder things like this and try to somehow relate that to my art. I tried to work the colors in a way that would make someone ask about what it is. It's not just an abstract of random colors in random places. It might be something in our galaxy or universe or somewhere else entirely. With this in mind the possibilities are endless! They really are. This is just the beginning.
I used alcohol ink on Austrailan s-ink paper. This paper is only available from Australia but is worth the wait for it. It's amazing paper. The inks move so well on it. I just love it! The colors I used here are Ranger Adirondak's, pitch black, shell pink, and salmon. I love how these colors melted into each other. Really fun combination. I hope this one has you pondering the possibilities of ... everything.
