Artist's Description
As night closes in on the Splendid Tempest. Contemplation occurs. The storm has passed. What’s next? What’s new? It reminds me of what our world is going through. In particular, what the United States is going through. We’re a mess! The potential for great things to happen is now. But will humanity take the events and turn them into around? I don’t know. I have faith in humanity, for the most part. There are times when I have hope. Other times, I wonder. The occurrence at Capitol Hill is one of those events that make me wonder. Will things escalate or will people come to their senses and stop? I’d like to think so. Again, I have my doubts. This is the second of 3 pieces titled Splendid Tempests. The one you’re looking at now was the second creation. Thank you so much for reading this and looking at my art. It touches my soul.
About KC Pollak
I have been an artist all my life, ever since I could hold a pencil. I have always loved to draw and paint. My styles have varied over the years from realism to abstract and everything in between. The mediums I most enjoy working with are: oil, prismacolor, charcoal, graphite, watercolor, pen & ink, alcohol ink, and acrylic. Currently I am experiencing a mammoth amount of creative freedom working on abstract art. In 2013 I donated one of my kidneys to a young woman who had only been born with one very diseased kidney. Since then she has been thriving and going to college and living her life. I consider this such a privilege and i'm so happy I was a match for her. I have lived all over the country.
