Artist's Description
Sometimes things just pop out at you. The first thing I thought of when I created this was Orca the whale jumping out of the water. Once you see it you can't unsee it. Not that this is a bad thing. I created this using a string dipped in black. The background had freshly poured white acrylic paint. I swiped the string around a couple of times and got this image. I love the simplicity of black and white and the complex patterns it made with a few drops of dimethicone in the black paint. This will definitely draw your eye in and odds are, you'll see something different every time you look at it. Make your room come alive with this very active and fluid piece!
About KC Pollak
I have been an artist all my life, ever since I could hold a pencil. I have always loved to draw and paint. My styles have varied over the years from realism to abstract and everything in between. The mediums I most enjoy working with are: oil, prismacolor, charcoal, graphite, watercolor, pen & ink, alcohol ink, and acrylic. Currently I am experiencing a mammoth amount of creative freedom working on abstract art. In 2013 I donated one of my kidneys to a young woman who had only been born with one very diseased kidney. Since then she has been thriving and going to college and living her life. I consider this such a privilege and i'm so happy I was a match for her. I have lived all over the country. I primarily grew up in Woodland...
