Artist's Description

On Top of the World Too is a piece I created by sandwiching substrates. I created the circular area with alcohol ink on graphix plastic paper. Then I drew some white designs/line work on a piece of clear acrylic added on top of the paper. This specific idea came from watching the streaming series ‘Calls’. There are several episodes that are all done with just voices and animated line work. It’s truly fascinating! The line work inspired me to the point where I created this piece. I will be doing more of this in the future. This piece makes me feel like there are so many possibilities out there. Endless possibilities! Some involving the multiverse. Identical versions of ourselves in infinite layers of dimensions. Stay tuned for future designs! Thanks so much for giving this piece a look and for reading the description. It’s much appreciated. Always.

About KC Pollak

KC Pollak

I have been an artist all my life, ever since I could hold a pencil. I have always loved to draw and paint. My styles have varied over the years from realism to abstract and everything in between. The mediums I most enjoy working with are: oil, prismacolor, charcoal, graphite, watercolor, pen & ink, alcohol ink, and acrylic. Currently I am experiencing a mammoth amount of creative freedom working on abstract art. In 2013 I donated one of my kidneys to a young woman who had only been born with one very diseased kidney. Since then she has been thriving and going to college and living her life. I consider this such a privilege and i'm so happy I was a match for her. I have lived all over the country. I primarily grew up in Woodland...
