Fancy Dance metal print by KC Pollak. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
This one is called 'Fancy Dance' because it looks like a choreography to me. The line work has so much movement to it and then the colors with them provide a riot of color and movement. I started this one with the line work initially. It was going to be a pen & ink drawing. I worked on it for about an hour and then had to set it aside. I came back the next day seeing color behind the lines. Great big splashes of color. So I made it happen! Had I stayed with my original goal, this would be a very different piece. Honestly, some of the best art comes by way of waiting. Walking away from it. Getting distance...then returning to the scene another day. Nearly every time I do this a new piece of art emerges. I'm glad I got some distance from it because I love this one. It's playful and fun and because of its colorful nature, happy.

I have been an artist all my life, ever since I could hold a pencil. I have always loved to draw and paint. My styles have varied over the years from realism to abstract and everything in between. The mediums I most enjoy working with are: oil, prismacolor, charcoal, graphite, watercolor, pen & ink, alcohol ink, and acrylic. Currently I am experiencing a mammoth amount of creative freedom working on abstract art. In 2013 I donated one of my kidneys to a young woman who had only been born with one very diseased kidney. Since then she has been thriving and going to college and living her life. I consider this such a privilege and i'm so happy I was a match for her. I have lived all over the country.
