Artist's Description
I don't exactly know why this one has the name Arctic Circles. It came to me the moment I finished. Hmm. Interesting. I have no doubt my work is spiritually inspired. I pray for the Holy Spirit to work through me as I paint. So whatever flows from my fingertips is at that point spiritual. The names sometimes just don't come to me at all and I will leave something untitled. This one was immediate. I think that's really interesting and well ... I just went with it. Maybe some day the name will become clear. For now, it's a mystery. I love mysteries! I think the Holy Spirit is a mystery and how He works through us. I think if we were to be given enough knowledge to begin to understand even the slightest bit of how God works and who He is ... our human minds would explode. Arctic Circles, I don't understand, but that's okay
About KC Pollak
I have been an artist all my life, ever since I could hold a pencil. I have always loved to draw and paint. My styles have varied over the years from realism to abstract and everything in between. The mediums I most enjoy working with are: oil, prismacolor, charcoal, graphite, watercolor, pen & ink, alcohol ink, and acrylic. Currently I am experiencing a mammoth amount of creative freedom working on abstract art. In 2013 I donated one of my kidneys to a young woman who had only been born with one very diseased kidney. Since then she has been thriving and going to college and living her life. I consider this such a privilege and i'm so happy I was a match for her. I have lived all over the country. I primarily grew up in Woodland...
